Tom Julian has been promoted to men’s fashion director of The Doneger Group.
Julian joined Doneger a year ago after a long career in the men’s wear industry, where he held posts including fashion director of both MAGIC and the Men’s Fashion Association. He is also an author of two men’s style books. In addition to his new responsibilities, Julian will continue to serve as Doneger’s director of strategic business development.
In addition, Kai Chow has been named director of Doneger Creative Services. He had formerly been creative director of the color, fabric and trend forecast division of Doneger. In his new position, Chow will be responsible for spearheading creative direction and related client activities. Prior to joining the company in 2006, Chow spent 23 years with Here & There, a fashion-forecasting firm acquired by The Doneger Group.
“These promotions reflect The Doneger Group’s continued growth and commitment to offering the highest level of service and industry expertise to support our clients’ needs,” said Abbey Doneger, president of The Doneger Group. “Both Kai and Tom have demonstrated strong leadership skills, invaluable industry insight and are incredibly talented. I am confident that in their new roles they will continue to elevate our offering to best guide our clients through the highly competitive and ever-changing retail environment.”
