Nice, France – Yonni Mrejen has been named vice-president of U.S. retail and operations for Façonnable. The position is new. Mrejen, formerly director of U.S. retail operations for Lacoste, will be based in New York.

He will be responsible for enhancing the company’s current retail stores, and will work to expand Façonnable into new U.S. markets. He will also manage the brand’s U.S. e-commerce division and oversee the operations of the American operation.

Prior to Lacoste, Mrejen was a consultant in the retail supply chain and strategy practice for Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in New York.

“As we quickly commence the building of our U.S. structure, I am pleased to have someone of Yonni’s caliber joining us,” Maher Mikati, interim CEO of Façonnable and executive director of M1 Group, in a statement.

M1, a diversified company based in Beirut, Lebanon, bought Faconnable for $210 million last July.
