PARIS — Zilli, the French luxury men’s wear brand, will open a New York flagship this fall.

The 2,700-square-foot boutique will be in the Four Seasons Hotel at 57 East 57th Street, and will be accessible from both the street and the hotel. The store had previously been occupied by the luxury Italian brand Brioni.

The New York unit will be the third Zilli store to debut this year, following the May opening of a location in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. Another boutique is set to open in Brussels in September.

The privately owned, Lyon-based company — whose hyper-expensive products include alligator sneakers that retail for 2,040 euros, or about $2,900 — already has 37 company-owned stores and wholesales to about 100 doors. The new store will include a bespoke tailoring section.

Zilli said it is investing more than $2 million in the New York boutique, which will be its second in North America. The firm has operated a location in Montreal since 2007.

Zilli’s 2008 sales totaled 68.2 million euros, or $100.3 million at average exchange rates.
