The Harrods man is getting a facelift—and who better than Burberry and Prada to kick off the nip ’n’ tuck.

MILAN — The Harrods man is getting a facelift—and who better than Burberry and Prada to kick off the nip ’n’ tuck. 

The landmark London department store has welcomed Burberry Prorsum’s largest men’s wear corner in Europe to its ground floor and reopened a new Prada shop-in-shop next door as part of a major refurbishment to its men’s wear department. 

Burberry and Prada were among the first to open their new spaces at Harrods last week. However, come spring an entire section of the department store’s ground level will include a plethora of luxury labels and men’s clothing brands, while sportswear labels will set up camp on the lower level, a Harrods spokeswoman told DNR. 

Burberry’s 450-square-foot new concept corner, developed by Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey, boasts contemporary decor such as trench lacquer and polished black chrome fixtures and fittings, as well as dark wood panels and marble floors. The unit will include Burberry Prorsum men’s ready-to-wear AW089, as well as accessories including bags and small leather goods. 

The unit marks a debut for Burberry Prorsum men’s wear at Harrods, which already carries Burberry Prorsum women’s wear, as well as Burberry London men’s ready-to-wear and non-apparel women’s wear.
