J.Hilburn is getting into the formalwear business.
The men’s wear company on Tuesday will begin offering a line of made-to-measure tuxedos, shirts, bow ties, cummerbunds, vests and cuff links. This is the brand’s first foray into the formalwear category and the line will be marketed to its 60,000 existing customers.
The tuxedos will be offered in super black, blackwatch plaid, black mini texture and midnight blue, and will be made from Italian wool fabrics. Price points start at $625 for jackets, $250 for trousers, $160 for vests and $159 for shirts. Accessories will retail for $65 to $89. A J.Hilburn style adviser will visit each customer to take measurements and help choose fabric, silhouette and details.
“Our goal at J.Hilburn is to help men dress better and feel great about the way they look for any occasion in their lives,” said cofounder and chief executive officer Hil Davis. “For the most special events a perfectly fitted, fine quality tuxedo can add a layer of confidence and easy elegance.”
Veeral Rathod, cofounder and president, added: “For the cost of a few one-time rentals, J.Hilburn customers can have a completely personalized tuxedo.”
