John Varvatos has opened a 3,250-square-foot store at the Bal Harbour Shops in Bal Harbour, Fla.
Inspired by a Manhattan Upper East Side apartment, the new boutique brings the total number of stores to 16. It features white oak herringbone wood floors and crown moldings, white exposed brick walls, built-in wardrobes and antique hardware. Fourteen custom-made bronze mirrored panels cover the ceiling.
The store carries a large assortment of tailored clothing from the John Varvatos Collection as well as footwear and accessories, such as rock-influenced jewelry, Ernst Benz by John Varvatos limited-edition watches and audio equipment.
“I have spent much time in Miami over the years and have always been drawn to the multicultural and beautiful settings the city has to offer. Miami is one of the centers of the world, and opening a shop in Bal Harbour has always been a dream of mine,” Varvatos said.
Reflecting Varvatos’ rock ’n’ roll aesthetic, the shop also showcases photographs of musicians and, through a partnership with Rock Paper Photo, a selection of limited-edition fine art prints, signed by the photographers, that are available for purchase.
