Neal Kusnetz, Robert Graham’s longtime president, has left the company, according to market sources.
A spokesman for the men’s and women’s apparel brand declined to confirm or deny the report when reached for comment on Monday.
Kusnetz was a founding partner of the New York-based brand, best known for its wildly patterned men’s woven shirts designed by Robert Stock. Kusnetz had served as its president for the past 13 years, overseeing sales, business development, merchandising, brand development and strategic partnerships. Before that, he spent three years at Calvin Klein as sales director.
Originally only a men’s shirt brand, Robert Graham has since expanded into a variety of other categories including tailored clothing, denim, eyewear, footwear and women’s wear. The brand received a cash infusion from Tengram Capital Partners LLC in June 2011 and since that time has doubled its volume to more than $300 million.
The company has also significantly expanded its retail presence with 11 stores around the country as well as more than 70 in-store shops at specialty stores and a few department stores.
Kusnetz could not be reached Monday and Bill Sweedler, cofounder of Tengram, did not return phone calls seeking comment.
