NEW YORK — In a growing trend to address the expanding population of Hispanic and Latin American consumers in the U.S., the MAGIC trade show will launch a new marketplace called MAGIA in Feb. 2009.

The new area will be located in a 25,000-square-foot space in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, alongside MAGIC’S Licensing and Sourcing exhibitions.

The show will feature brands from companies including Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador, Paraguay and Columbia, and has been endorsed by The U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. MAGIA, which means “magic” in Spanish, will also feature a dedicated seminar series.
