Oxford Industries Promotes Two

K. Scott Grassmyer will be executive vice president of finance and Thomas E. Campbell will be executive vice president of law and administration.

Oxford Industries Inc. has promoted K. Scott Grassmyer to executive vice president of finance and Thomas E. Campbell to executive vice president of law and administration, general counsel and secretary.

Grassmyer, 53, is a certified public accountant who began his career with Ernst & Young, and joined Duck Head Apparel Co. in 1990 as senior vice president and chief financial officer before joining Oxford as controller in 2002. He was promoted to senior vice president of finance, cfo and controller in 2011.

Thomas C. Chubb 3rd, chief executive officer and president of Oxford, said Grassmyer “joined Oxford just as we were embarking on our transformation from a private-label manufacturer to a company focused on lifestyle brands. Among his many contributions was the key role he played in our acquisitions and integrations of Tommy Bahama and Lilly Pulitzer. The promotion to executive vice president is an affirmation of the very important role that Scott plays within the company.”

Campbell, 50, began his career as an associate with Troutman Sanders LLP before joining Interface Inc., the world’s largest designer and maker of carpet tile, in 1997, where he was senior counsel.  He joined Oxford in 2006, serving as vice president of law, general counsel and secretary. He was named senior vice president of law and administration, general counsel and secretary in 2011.

“Tom has been a key player on our team since the day he walked in the door in 2006,” Chubb said. “His advice and counsel are trusted and respected across all parts of our company.”
