Randa Accessories has shuffled its top management, naming Terry Tackett president of the Swank business.
He is currently president of the firm’s Randa Luggage unit and will take on his new role Monday.
Rick Luft, the current president of Swank, will remain with the company as a full-time employee through May and then leave to become a business and executive coach. He will also continue to consult with Randa on “key corporate initiatives,” the company said.
Frank Fenton, senior vice president of sales for Randa Luggage, will succeed Tackett as president of that division.
Tackett has spent 20 years in the belt, small leather goods and accessories industry as senior vice president of Randa Leather Goods. And Fenton has held positions as vice president of sales for Randa Neckwear and senior vice president of sales for JanSport backpacks.
Both will report to Randa’s chief executive officer, Jeffrey Spiegel.
“As Randa continues to grow — both organically and through acquisitions — so will our rotation of talent,” said David Katz, Randa’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer. “With both Terry and Frank, they’ll be coming in with fresh eyes but years of experience to offer.”
Randa Accessories acquired Swank Inc., in May 2012 for $57.3 million.
