The 1,300-square-foot spot on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood will serve as a showcase for the brand’s apparel lines: SSUR, Caviar Cartel and SSUR*Plus, and will also serve as an art gallery. The shop includes a 2,000-square-foot outdoor space that can be reserved for private events.

Designed by Karablin’s wife, Robin Walker, along with architect Talbot McLanahan, the space will have concrete floors, marble countertops and steel fixtures.

“I always wanted to bring my Russian roots and influences to the West Coast and when I saw this space on the Russian block of Santa Monica Boulevard, my dream immediately turned into a reality,” said Karablin. The store is next door to a Russian deli, Mechta Market, that will cater SSUR events and parties.

This will mark the brand’s third location following a Shanghai unit that opened in December and its first, a New York City-based store that has been in business since 1996.

The collection is also sold at online retailers Revolve Clothing and Asos.
