Apolis, a Los Angeles-based men’s brand, will open a pop-up shop at Steven Alan’s new Chelsea location in New York City this fall.

The shop, which will be open from Oct. 18 through November, will be named Nomad Market and will showcase the brand’s travel-inspired products, including the Filson + Apolis Philanthropist briefcase for $396, an alpaca blanket for $348, an Indian checker scarf for $96 and a navy flat-front blazer for $848. The company has also designed an Apolis + Steven Alan Chelsea market bag that will be sold at the location for $68.
Apolis, which means “global citizen” in Greek, was founded in 2004 by brothers Raan and Shea Parton to help bring employment to underdeveloped regions of the world. Forty percent of all Apolis products are developed within Bangladesh, Peru, Indonesia, Honduras and Venezuela. The rest is manufactured in the U.S.
The shop at Steven Alan will also host a series of programs on the company’s design philosophy, including photo exhibits of its travel expeditions, conversations and documentary films about its various partnerships.
