PVH Corp. Signs Korean License

TS Commerce Corp. will manufacture, sell, distribute and promote Van Heusen in the country.

PVH Corp. has signed a licensing deal with TS Commerce Corp. for the manufacture, sale, distribution and promotion of Van Heusen in South Korea.

Under the terms of the deal, which runs through December 2018, TS Commerce will sell men’s dress and sport shirts, neckwear, knit shirts, suits and suit separates, pants, underwear, leather belts, wallets, cuff links, tie bars, socks, headwear, bags and shoes in the Korean market. It will also will open and operate freestanding Van Heusen stores there, and has the rights to distribute Van Heusen products through shop-in-shops, specialty stores, department stores, retail outlets and via an e-commerce Web site.

“We are thrilled to expand the Van Heusen brand into Korea, as we believe that our classic American heritage will resonate well with the Korean consumer,” said Ken Wyse, president of licensing for PVH. “We believe that TS Commerce Corp. will be an excellent partner for us, given their extensive experience in the dress apparel industry, understanding of the Korean marketplace and strong relationships across the largest department stores in the region.”
