Robert Kaplan, a former sales manager at Fishman & Tobin Inc., a boys’ apparel manufacturer based in New York, died July 31 at his home in New Brunswick, N.J. He was 66.

The cause of death was cancer, according to a company spokesperson.

Kaplan, who retired from Fishman & Tobin in 2007, worked at the company for 28 years. Prior to that, he had been with Kaynee Boys Shirt Co. in a similar sales capacity.

Kaplan is survived by his wife, Jane; a son, Matthew; a daughter, Stephanie Moody, and two sisters, Sonya Miccoli and Toni Runge.
