Sweden’s Hennes & Mauritz has tapped Jyrki Tervonen as chief financial officer.
Tervonen has been with H&M since 1997, most recently as country manager for Finland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. He will replace Leif Persson in November.
Persson will continue to be part of H&M’s executive management team, the company said. He will also consult for the retailer on strategic company matters after leaving his cfo post later this year.
