H&M Taps New Chief Financial Officer

Sweden's Hennes & Mauritz has tapped a new chief financial officer. Jyrki Tervonen will replace Leif Persson as CFO this November.

Sweden’s Hennes & Mauritz has tapped Jyrki Tervonen as chief financial officer.


Tervonen has been with H&M since 1997, most recently as country manager for Finland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. He will replace Leif Persson in November.


Persson will continue to be part of H&M’s executive management team, the company said. He will also consult for the retailer on strategic company matters after leaving his cfo post later this year.
