A look at the very crowded schedule he kept during New York fashion week, Feb. 13-17, 2012.

Marvin Traub’s schedule is always tight, and fashion week couldn’t be much tighter. In between morning workouts and business meetings throughout the day, the executive crammed in several fashion shows, and at night there were dinners at four-star restaurants, concerts and theater. “That’s the way I like it — busy,” Traub said. Here’s how his calendar unfolded from Feb. 13 to 17.

MONDAY

8 a.m.: Breakfast at the Regency with close friend Larry Leeds, chairman of Buckingham Capital Management.
9 a.m.: Weekly meeting with the Marvin Traub Associates team to review the two dozen projects in the works.
10:30 a.m.: Rachel Roy show at Lincoln Center. MTA has an investment in Rachel Roy.
12 noon: Lunch at The Four Seasons with David Patrick Columbia of New York Social Diary for Quest magazine; Janet Eilber, artist director of Martha Graham Dance Co., and Lee Traub.
2:30 p.m.: Meeting at 650 Madison with Tony Marx, president, New York Public Library; Scott Malkin, chairman, Value Retail outlets and NYPL board member, and David Lauren to discuss the library’s future in the digital world.
6 p.m.: Meeting with MTA president Morty Singer to discuss internal issues.
7 p.m.: Dinner at Sette Mezzo with Philippe Mayer, friend and ceo of Grange Furniture, and Lee.

TUESDAY
7 a.m.: Workout with trainer at the gym with 45 minutes of cycling, lifts, balancing and knee exercises to alleviate the aches and pains.
8:45 a.m.: Breakfast at The Plaza with Alla Verber, vice president and chief merchant, Mercury Group, owner of Russia’s Tsum department store, and Kelsey Scroggins, MTA vice president.
12 noon: Lunch at The Four Seasons with Jeff Morgan, licensing chief for Ralph Lauren and former publisher of Men’s Health.
1:30 p.m.: Conference call with Value Retail executives in Europe and China to review plans to build a luxury outlet village in China and other strategies.
3 p.m.: Meeting with Scott Malkin, Morty Singer and Tony Marx for further discussion on the New York Public Library.
4 p.m.: Meeting with George Hrdina, former group president of children’s at Ralph Lauren and involved with Pearls & Popcorn children’s brand recently launched at Bloomingdale’s.
7 p.m.: Dinner at the Water Club with Eda Kuloglu, general merchandise manager of Harvey Nichols Dubai and Bloomingdale’s Dubai for a business update.
 
WEDNESDAY
8:30 a.m.: Breakfast at Jumeirah Essex House with Andrew Jennings, ceo of Karstadt in Germany, to discuss business and brands.
10:30 a.m.: Meeting at office to discuss Massif men’s wear with David Fisher, Bloomingdale’s executive vice president and gmm of men’s and children team, and MTA partner Stan Tucker.
12 noon: Lunch in the office with Scott Malkin and Tim Adams, Macy’s chief private brand officer.
2:30 p.m.: Meeting at the Tory Burch showroom with Brigitte Kleine, president, and Scott Malkin.
5:30 p.m.: Dinner at Osteria del Circo with friends Michael Steinberg, former ceo of Macy’s West, and his wife, Susan.
7 p.m.: Encore music revival at New York City Center with the Steinbergs.
 
THURSDAY

9 a.m.: Ralph Lauren show at Lincoln Center. Get second-row seat right on aisle.
10:30 a.m.: Conference call for board meeting with Provell, a business services company in Minneapolis and Naples, Fla. 
12 noon: Sandwich for lunch at the desk.
2 p.m.: Meeting with Alla Verber and Tsum merchants to show the Massif men’s collection at the office.
3 p.m.: Conference call with Ronit Pardo, designer of Pearls & Popcorn, to discuss growth strategies.
3:30 p.m.: Meeting with Burt Tansky, former Neiman Marcus Group chairman and ceo, now a senior advisor at MTA to discuss projects in the works.
4:30 p.m.: Meeting with David Riddiford, ceo, Folli Follie U.K. and North America, and Manolis Zacharou of Elmec, parent of Folli Follie, to discuss the brand’s shop in Lord & Taylor and other growth prospects.
7 p.m.: Dinner at L’Absinthe with Alla Verber and Lee.

FRIDAY

7 a.m.: Workout with trainer —same regimen as Tuesday.
9 a.m.: Board meeting for Adesso (the lighting, furniture and room accessories company founded and run by Traub’s daughter Margaret).
12:30 p.m.: Lunch at the Harvard Club with political analyst Douglas Schoen.
2 p.m.: Meeting with David Eno, Ralph Lauren’s senior director of video production and strategy, to help provide background for a video on the designer.
4 p.m.: Call references for a candidate seeking a job at MTA.
4:30 p.m.: Meeting with Julie Browne, commercial director for MCM brand in America.
8 p.m.: New York City Ballet production of “Fancy Free,” “Agon” and “Tchaikovsky Suite No. 3.” Attending with Lee.
