Kay Krill’s pay rose 17.6 percent to $12.7 million last year as the Ann Inc. chief executive officer drew cash incentive pay of $6.7 million.
The incentive pay came from a short-term cash program, a long-term restricted cash program and a bonus initially banked in 2009, according to a regulatory filing today.
Krill’s compensation included a salary of $1.2 million and stock and option awards that together were valued at $4.5 million. Pay in stock might never be realized given vesting schedules and fluctuations in share price.
Krill was the third highest paid women executive in the U.S. fashion industry in 2011 with total compensation of $10.8 million, according to WWD’s tally.
