New L’Oréal Travel Retail Chief Named

Barbara Lavernos replaced Eric Tarral in the position.

PARIS — Barbara Lavernos has been appointed L’Oréal Luxe’s travel retail worldwide managing director, the French beauty giant announced today.

She replaces Eric Tarral in the post.

“After four years spent at the head of L’Oréal Luxe travel retail worldwide, Eric Tarral has been called upon to occupy an important new position within the L’Oréal Group, details of which shall be announced in the coming weeks,” the company said in a statement.

Lavernos joined L’Oréal in 1991. Most recently, she was the company’s chief procurement officer. It’s a job Lavernos began in 2004.
