From Cetaphil to cyanide capsules, the fashion flock gets creative when it comes to contending with the hustle and bustle of collections.

SIMON DOONAN, executive vice president, of creative service, Barneys New York and author
Shows he’ll attend: “I don’t go to a ton of shows — just enough to get the general drift. Narciso, DVF etc….”
Parties he’ll attend: “I’m psyched for the Gucci thing. I have not seen Madge in the flesh for a while. She has started to look like Virna Lisi — this is a good thing.”
Beauty regimen: “I spray myself liberally with L’Artisan Parfumeur Fig — It’s important to smell good when you are jammed in close proximity with other fashionistas under the hot lights.”
What he’ll wear: “A Moncler jacket, Acne corduroys, a Paul Smith Liberty print shirt and a jaunty chapeau of some description. I do not believe in growing old gracefully.”
What’s in his bag: “Not much. A pen, a Metrocard and a cyanide capsule in case I see something suicide-inducing.”
What’s on his feet: “My new Nike AIRSTAR in silver — I am having a Kal Ruttenstein moment.”
Snacks on hand: “Something health food-y — a granola bar or two.”
Late-night fix: “I’m always in bed by 10:30 p.m.”
How he’ll unwind: “Watching ‘Intervention.’ It’s gruesome but adds some much-needed gravitas to my life after a day at the tents.”
Morning caffeine fix: “Kukicha tea.”
Reading material: “You look really insane if you sit waiting for a show and start reading Dostoyevsky.”

DICK PAGE, artistic director of Shiseido makeup
Shows he’s working on: “Earth Pledge, United Bamboo, Alexander Wang, Zero Maria Cornejo, Narciso Rodriguez, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, Halston. I think that’s all of it.”
Parties he’ll attend: “Oh no, no, no! I get a little bit mental during this week. And I’m a little old to hang out with these teenage models. But maybe the Alexander Wang party.”
Beauty regimen: “Same as usual: shower up. And Shiseido Men’s Anti-Shine Refresher so when I’m interviewed on the telly it looks like I’ve just been polished.”
What he’ll wear: “It’s very basic: jeans and a cotton shirt.”
What’s in his bag: “A camera. I also carry around a book that usually never gets read.”
Snacks on hand: “Salid Thong, a crispy fish snack from Thailand.”
Late-night fix: “Leftovers. I try to cook every day. So when I come home, there’s usually something in the fridge that can be reheated.”
How he’ll unwind: “Sex, booze and a hot bath.”
Morning caffeine fix: “PG tips — a traditional English worker’s tea — with milk and sugar.”
Reading material: “I’m rereading Simon Doonan’s ‘Nasty’ and ‘The Letters of Noel Coward.’ ”

RISA SCOBIE, vice president of communications and marketing, Derek Lam
Shows she’ll attend: “Besides our show? Band of Outsiders, Thakoon, Lyell.”
Parties she’ll attend: Opening Ceremony/Chloë Sevigny Party.
Beauty regimen: “Pat Wexler’s Rejuvenating Serum, Kiehl’s lip balm, whatever essential oil Kate Young is carrying around this season.”
What she’ll wear: “Derek Lam everything, except The Row pants, and Jarling [perfume] by Jar.”
What’s in her bag: “Comme des Garçons pouch stuffed with receipts, Mike the dog’s trousseau, our Sophia sunglasses, Tom Binns multicolored rhinestone bracelet.”
What’s on her feet: “Derek Lam Tronchetto boots, Miu Miu patent heels and Wolford tights.”
Snacks on hand: “Who needs to snack with three catered meals a day? We take our food seriously at Derek Lam.”
How she’ll unwind: “I’ll make roast chicken at our house in Red Hook the weekend after.”
Morning caffeine fix: “Two cups of Mariage Frères French Breakfast tea.”
Reading material: “All the weeklies, all the dailies, all the dot-coms. I’ll rejoin the fashion world the week after the shows.”

ANNABEL TOLLMAN, stylist and fashion director, Interview magazine
Shows she’ll attend: Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Proenza Schouler, Zac Posen, Tony Melillo, Baby Phat.
Parties she’ll attend: “The Calvin Klein party is always my big night out.”
Beauty regimen: “Stella McCartney nourishing serum, dim lighting and hoping for the best.”
What she’ll wear: “Alaïa to begin with, biker boots and my Tod’s puffa when I’ve had enough.”
What’s in her bag: “Lip balm, hand cream (emollients generally), notebook, BlackBerry, digital camera.”
What’s on her feet: “Ridiculously fantastic purple suede over-the-knee Louboutins. Prince would die for them.”

Beauty regimen: “Stay out of the sun. I also love Lancôme skin care, it is great for keeping my skin fresh.”
What she’ll wear: “I definitely love Balenciaga, Nicolas [Ghesquière] is a genius. Rag & Bone is great, their clothing is something you can wear day to day. And you can never go wrong with Anna Sui. And the gals at Rodarte are super.”
What’s in her bag: “My Chanel wallet, a camera with pics of the girls backstage, my BlackBerry and my iPod, keys, gum and a book.”
What’s on her feet: “Shoes.”
Snacks on hand: “Apples.”
Late-night fix: “Blueberries.”
How she’ll unwind: “Usually I go home to Vancouver; if I have no time to go home I hang out in my new apartment in New York. I love to watch old movies.”
Morning caffeine fix: “Peppermint tea with soy milk, my new favorite drink.”
Reading material: “‘Forever Amber,’ based on a girl who lived under the rule of King Charles and how she started as no one and then became the greatest woman of Europe. I recommend it to any spirited and curious young girl.”
