A&F’s Ruehl to Open at Galleria Dallas

The 9,000-square-foot store will be near fast-fashion chain Zara and Abercrombie & Fitch.

DALLAS — Ruehl No. 925, the casual fashion chain for young urban professionals owned by Abercrombie & Fitch, plans to open its first Texas store at Galleria Dallas in November.

The 9,000-square-foot store will be near fast-fashion chain Zara and Abercrombie & Fitch.

“We are top-of-mind with fashion-forward customers, and we know they’ll really appreciate the quality and style that Ruehl No. 925 brings to north Texas,” said Peggy Weaver, general manager of Galleria Dallas, which is managed by General Growth Properties.

Ruehl No. 925 stores accent Greenwich Village-inspired clothing for young professionals seeking sophisticated interpretations of fashion-forward trends, plus hip interpretations of classic styles, such as cashmere sweaters.

Merchandising includes brownstone storefronts designed to look like a Greenwich Village town house, as well as residential interiors, including checkout counters in a “back porch”-style setting. The Ruehl No. 925 brand name evolved from the story of a German immigrant family, the Ruehls, who settled in Manhattan in the late 19th century and founded a leather goods store at their No. 925 Greenwich St. address.

The Dallas location joins the 10 other Ruehl No. 925 stores across the U.S.: Garden State Plaza, Paramus, N.J.; International Plaza, Tampa, Fla.; Twelve Oaks Mall, Novi, Mich.; Easton Town Center, Columbus, Ohio; Tyson’s Corner, McLean, Va.; Fashion Valley, San Diego; Ala Moana Center, Honolulu; Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg, Ill.; Oakbrook Center, Oakbrook, Ill., and in Manhattan at 370 Bleecker Street.
