DALLAS — Escada is the subject of Neiman Marcus’s latest direct-mail promotion, a 12-page booklet of spring and summer apparel and accessories that is expected to generate $1 million in sales.
The mailer was sent Thursday to 100,000 customers. It features mix and match sportswear in fuchsia, black and white, two dresses, shoes, a handbag and two fragrances.
Everything is exclusive to Neiman’s except the fragrances, and all products are available in Neiman’s 27 stores or by mail order. Escada is one of Neiman’s top resources.
An Escada spokeswoman said the company also produced a small group of exclusive spring merchandise for Saks Fifth Avenue, which was shipped in January. Escada is considering doing small, exclusive groups for the two stores for fall as well.
