DALLAS — Ann Stordahl and Butch Mullins each have been promoted to senior vice president and general merchandise manager at Neiman Marcus and are splitting responsibilities for women’s apparel.

They succeed Ron Frasch, who is leaving Neiman’s this week, as reported, to join Escada U.S.A. as president on Monday.

Stordahl and Mullins report to Janet Gurwitch, executive vice president for women’s merchandising.

Stordahl is responsible for designer sportswear and ready-to-wear, eveningwear, dresses, suits, furs and coats. Mullins oversees bridge sportswear, leisure sportswear, intimate apparel and hosiery.

Stordahl joined Neiman’s in 1992 as vice president and divisional merchandise manager for bridge career sportswear and the private-label cashmere collection. She came from I. Magnin, where she was senior vice president and general merchandise manager of rtw, cosmetics and home.

Mullins has been vice president and divisional merchandise manager for leisure sportswear, swimwear and Couture II, which includes St. John, Louis Feraud and Steve Fabrikant collections.

He joined Neiman’s in 1991 from Macy’s West, where he was vice president and general manager of the Valley Fair and Oakridge Mall stores.

Successors for Stordahl and Mullins have not been named yet.
