NEW YORK — The Trans-Alliance Group, a consulting firm that provides American manufacturers and retailers with information on how to launch businesses in Europe, has merged with Fashion Connect International and has begun expanded operations from FCI’s office here.
Rosemary Johnson, who founded the year-old FCI, an international buying office, is the company’s apparel director. FCI’s revenues were just under $3 million last year.
Trans-Alliance, a four-year-old company, has offices in Paris and Los Angeles, said Lawrence R. Gordon, president. The company covers the European Community and Eastern Bloc nations from its Paris office.
