Japanese fast-fashion brand Uniqlo said Wednesday it will open its first store in Indonesia this summer.
The brand, owned by Fast Retailing Co. Ltd., said the Jakarta store will feature a nearly 29,000-square-foot sales floor over two levels. Located in the Lotte Shopping Avenue complex in the Kuningan district, it will be one of Uniqlo’s largest stores in Southeast Asia.
Uniqlo currently has 23 stores in Southeast Asia in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. The company said its stores in these four countries “continue to preform well.”
