One half expected “Borderline” to start playing at Jill Stuart’s show, which was full of leather and lace and all things 1983 — remember shredded tiered skirts? In some instances, the disheveled diva look worked — as with a black lace dress and skinny pants paired with bloused-sleeve tops, which struck a louche vibe. But the freshness of Stuart’s signature dresses often got snuffed out under chiffon layers and fringe.
