The elegant 17th-Century Ponti Palace was an apt setting for the understated luxury showcased in Agnona’s fall show. The label’s White collection – a sportier, casual line – offered plenty for the woman who escapes to her country retreat on weekends. Smart cashmere outerwear was paired with textured turtlenecks and slim, cropped pants in natty plaids or subtle solids. The brand’s Brown line designed by Martin Grant emphasized femininity with plenty of timeless favorites: well-cut sheaths, shawl-collared coats, and knitted jackets with mink-lined hoods. Agnona also expanded its accessories line with a new entry, the Bonnie Ball bag, a slouchy versatile handbag fashioned from pleated leather strips.
