Inspired by a recent hiking trip, Christian Cota readied his girl for an expedition into the unknown. The designer mixed urban utilitarian elements like hidden pockets, zippered slits, harnesses and snap-off sleeves with a Tibetan mountain climber aesthetic. While that may sound a bit costumey, Cota managed to pull it off in a chic and sophisticated way. Key looks included a printed fox collar over a leather top and ombré striped skirt, a fur sculpted hooded shirt paired with relaxed trousers, and hand-painted wrap coats and a blazer with a traditional Tibetan tweed print skirt. Perfect, said Cota, for an “adventure in the city.”
