Designer Sofia Sizzi, an industry veteran who has worked at Gucci, Calvin Klein and Donna Karan, along with creative director Cay Sophie Rabinowitz, the former artistic director of Art Basel, showed a debut collection inspired by the mood and style of Italian films of the Sixties and most notably the actress Monica Vitti. With little black or white dresses, midcalf skirts paired with blouses, and capelet jackets, the look culminated into a bold, nostalgic style that crossed Southern Italian schoolgirl with priestly references.
