Once considered quirky and crafty, Ports 1961 turned sleek and tailored this season under the direction of designer Fiona Cibani and consultant Robert Burke. Texture and shape were the leading themes in the men’s wear-influenced collection, yet silhouettes were feminine, lean and emphasized the waist. Key looks included herringbone jumpsuits, brushstroke-printed sheath dresses, boatneck tops with leather trim and Lurex metallic coats.
