Much of this collection looked bulky and cluttered: There were too many flapping, fluttering layers and many of the dresses were baggy and ill-fitting. However, Jackie Lee did turn out some beautiful, well-proportioned pieces. They included a short, mauve knit dress with a cream-colored hem like a wisp of cloud, and a white column dress with light gray cuffs, a dramatic piece that Shakespeare’s Ophelia would have happily worn.
