Todd Lynn’s collections are known for their austere air, and this season was no exception. But this time the designer softened his tailored shapes with draping, and worked in a palette of more fluid fabrics to give the clothes a romantic and Gothic feel. A long-sleeve gray sheath dress was done in a pattern that looked like moth-eaten holes, while body-skimming gray silk pants were worn with a shell top fashioned from cobweblike gray lace. The designer’s signature leather jackets offered a tough foil to those softer fabrics, with one leather vest in a warrior-esque, funnel-neck style.
