A Sixties shift silhouette with a kicky drop-waist skirt was the common thread in Anna Molinari’s show, which was divided into four distinct sections. It began with cute collegiate coeds in toggle coats, argyles and knitwear — turtlenecks and intarsias were a highlight throughout the show — before moving onto a kooky pastel series. Then snow bunnies appeared in black and white piled with fur trappings. The sum of the look was extreme youthful fun, but underneath the Mongolian vests and skirts, long-haired boots and fuzzy Smurf hats were an array of short, flirty dresses suited for everyday use.
