Ermanno Scervino took the equestrian theme and galloped with it, from tailored peplum jackets to leather riding pants, even topping his girls with visor caps. He also elaborated with more subtle variations, including a houndstooth blazer with a pleated skirt, or a knitted moss green sweater with a skirt featuring car-wash panels. But it wasn’t all meant for the horsey set. The designer had plenty of looks that were more overtly sexy, including several asymmetrical or bustier dresses that hugged the models’ curves, and the two floor-length embellished lace gowns that closed the show.
