In the span of three seasons, Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi have successfully fleshed out a point of view at Fay that is beyond puffer jackets and polo shirts. Classic outerwear was still the anchor of the fall collection, here, in toggle coats lined with hoods — nylon puffers for a sporty option; fur for the deluxe treatment. Stitched leather trims and utility pockets gave the coats a rich, utilitarian finish, which made for a smart, contemporary thread the designers continued on miniskirts with stamped croc apron pockets and matching booties.
