The seemingly endless wait outside Francesco Scognamiglio’s show venue was annoying, and the line to get a handwritten seat placement was ridiculous, all of which did not sit well with his audience. Nor did his group of pink grapefruit prints that morphed into 3-D human organs and appendages on some of his closing numbers.

Apart from these distractions, the designer displayed good skills in working leather for a girly yet sexy look, as in a pleated miniskirt and matching shirt, or an armor-like ruffled jacket paired with pants. And his leather-sleeved sweatshirt printed with ravens paired with a white pleated miniskirt was fresh and fun.
