The Art Deco movement was the jumping-off point for Piazza Sempione’s collection, and its influence was reflected in everything from silk tunics in geometric prints to graphic tailoring in contrasting textures. Collection director Fabio Falleti constructed a jacket and matching coat using burnt-sienna-colored compact wool that felt as snug as a cashmere blanket. Outerwear was similarly refined, as in a cocoonlike coat in alpaca and mohair check bouclé, as well as in a forest green silk duchesse parka with a hood lined in black mink.
