With her signature flapper dresses in guipure overlaid with black lace, Sharon Wauchob displayed her skill at handling the textural plays that have emerged as a key theme of this season. That same drop-waisted silhouette also appeared for day as tea dresses in wintry pastel shades that trailed gauzy strips of fabric, and midlength skirts with springy accordion pleats. By contrast, coats and jackets were spliced with generous chunks of fur, like a silvery bib on a light gray knee-length coat. Though Wauchob did not stray from familiar territory, hers was a good, well-edited collection that hit all the right notes.
