Model-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne flailed her arms in her breezy, Lurex-shot caftan, announcing the bohemian, Seventies spirit of Daniella Helayel’s latest collection.

The retro mood was heightened by the thrift-shop-ceramic colors — primarily orange, mustard and brown — and a surfeit of groovy ponchos and shaggy furs, from sheepskin chubbies to an elongated vest that swished around one of her signature printed jacquard dresses. Outerwear was a big statement, including sweeping maxi coats in Navajo blanket prints.

While the silhouettes were sometimes bulky, and looks were layered to the hilt with ribbed turtlenecks or hooded sweaters, Helayel’s sense of fun managed to shine through.
