The signature style of Karl Lagerfeld occasionally came to mind in this men’s wear-inspired collection, notably the elongated, stick-to-the-ribs jackets, the fingerless gloves and the stiff shirt collars caught with a tie bar.

The tailoring worked best when Lynn kept things straight and simple; occasionally it looked tortured – fabric either bunching at the waist of boxy biker jackets, or riding up from the midriff of tight tuxedos. The muddy colors and ragged furs added to the downbeat, androgynous mood. The niftiest look in the show was a sculpted coat with slashed sleeves that allow the wearer to poke her arms out, like a cape.
