Design director Odile Benjamin was inspired by the opulence and decadence of the Yves Saint Laurent Russian Collection of the mid-Seventies. In a nod to that era, there were Lurex paisley bohemian maxis, rich brocade tops and dresses, chic capes and velvet burnouts on frocks. Benjamin also had a Madame Grès moment with macro-pleating on evening gowns and cocktail numbers.
