Now in his second season at the design helm, Greg Myler demonstrated a confident hand with elegant clothes that elevated St. John’s knitwear heritage nicely without ever looking old. At the presentation, Myler said he looked to the Seventies for inspiration, which mostly translated into chic boot-length skirts and a palette of dark greens, like the lichen V-neck top shown with a gold beaded skirt and fox collar.

For evening, there were some slinky satin gowns and a black crepe de chine blouse with lace shoulder details and lace pants that, like most of the looks, was rendered with just the right amount of restraint to appear appealing and fresh.
