Hash worked with sleek, lustrous fabrics, adding portholes at the waist that spilled a spray of lace or a swag of shiny jacquard. The ones with deconstructed jackets on top were tricky, while the best were the bustier styles: a black version topped with a filmy cape in Chantilly lace, and an ivory one fronted with a frothy panel resembling a veil. Runaway bride, indeed.
