Junichi Abe has been building a strong reputation in men’s wear, especially in Japan, and is now keen on expanding his women’s collection. He uses a similar vocabulary for both Kolor lines, notably his fabric and color combos. Here, he paired a cozy mohair sweater in bright burgundy and camel with army green elastic-waist cotton pants, and a roomy camel cardigan featuring a tailored blue ponyskin lapel over a navy velvet and gray flannel full skirt. Color blocks and sportswear elements are key to Abe’s look, demonstrating a good balance between masculine and feminine, chic and relaxed.
