For fall, Chinese designer Masha Ma delivered a lineup of pencil skirts and dresses, sometimes offset by large Swarovski crystal snowflake motifs (she was sponsored by Swarovski Collective this season). The look could have easily swung toward overload, but it was actually quite appealing, especially on a light gray wool dress.
This collection was cleaner than past seasons. Chunky Neoprene sweaters with puffy sleeves looked modern and injected an air of laid-back chic into the otherwise body-conscious silhouettes. Tone-on-tone embroideries looked terrific, as did the mélange of fabrics, which worked best on a cropped cashmere coat with attached knitted scarf and furry peplum.
