Antonio Berardi stayed true to his fiercely sexy script of clothes for vampy creatures of the night. His palette was rooted in black with jewel-toned flashes of amethyst and emerald. Fabrics included a sculptural black silk grosgrain, sparkly green lamé and plasticized wide mesh.
Berardi focused his attention on the waist, underscoring an hourglass silhouette with architectural construction that turned tucks into peplums on rib-hugging tops, short skirts and cropped jackets. Among the highlights: a black and ice gray curve-clinging little dress with long sleeves, a wave-shaped hem and corsetry details, and a tailored black jacket with a double peplum.
