Barbara Casasola showed a chic collection that confidently built on the tailoring she introduced as Pitti Immagine W’s guest women’s wear designer in January.

Casasola opened the show with a gray belted jumpsuit with sharp shoulders and tapered legs, and then featured a standout purple wool trouser suit worn with its lapels closed around the neck. There were also sheer silk frocks with full skirts and the long and lean dresses she’s known for.

The designer’s separates — also new to the mix — looked great, especially the geranium red, high-neck silk top that was teamed with a grape midi skirt in sheer chiffon.
