Fyodor Podgorny’s and Golan Frydman’s travels through Cambodia and Myanmar inspired this collection, which was a leap forward in terms of scope and execution.
They swapped their usual grown-up look with a more streetwise verve. The collection featured glossy technical fabrics in olive and black — the latter sometimes looking a bit too much like trash bags — and dresses with swathes of wrapped and tucked cloth around them, worn over narrow, gathered trousers.
A partnership with Swarovski translated into plenty of sparkle — across the top of a strapless dress, and on the accompanying gloves. The piece de resistance was a futuristic skirt made from 80 Nokia Lumia 1520 smart phones, designed by the pair and realized by a company called Kin.
