Spaghetti Westerns inspired Yasuko Furuta’s collection for Toga, making its London debut.

Pale yellow rubber, khaki and crisp white cotton lightened the mostly black palette. Black organza skirts were belted over slim jeans and trousers, giving the impression of volume to Furuta’s long, lean silhouette.

The show’s standout piece was a dramatic full-length crepe de chine dress. It was backless except for flesh-toned rubber and black leather straps, which can also double as a belt. It was complicated and beautiful.
