Following last season’s incursion into softer territory, Mariuccia Mandelli returned to her comfort zone, showing a Krizia collection defined by rigorous lines and power silhouettes that echoed the Eighties.

There was an overwhelming use of sun-ray pleats, appearing on everything from roomy leather pants to a side-slit maxidress worn with a leather bomber jacket, it pleated as well.

Mandelli also reworked Krizia’s iconic panther design. It stood out as a black silhouette on a pleated red leather minidress while its head was embroidered on a see-through sweater matched with slim pants and a silk duchesse coat.

 

Evening brought some sparkle to the lineup. Shiny plastic beading gave a feathered look to a plunging black top and a V-neck dress with sheer sleeves.
