Japan was the inspiration behind the youthful and cool McQ Alexander McQueen lineup for fall.

A manga comic strip created by artist Yoshiyasu Tamura was printed on a series of looks, including an intarsia motorbike jacket and a down maxi jacket covered with a fine plastic layer, while a pattern inspired by the lights of Tokyo’s skyline at night was worked on an asymmetric silk dress.

For a more elegant look, Sarah Burton’s creative team studied the silhouettes of samurai armor, designing a series of structured black evening dresses with contrasting white trimming.
